Antonio Lafuente (Granada) holds a PhD in Physics and works at the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (Madrid), CSIC. In 1989 he began a long stay at the University of Berkeley as a visiting scholar. He has published two dozen books and over one hundred articles, many of them in international magazines.
He is a regular contributor to newspapers and literary supplements in Spanish and he is the author of «Tecnocidanos», a blog that reports on progress and lectures on the relationship between new technologies and new wealth. Lafuente currently coordinates the Laboratorio del Procomún, an initiative sponsored by MediaLab (Prado) in Madrid.
