The smart future minds awards have been announced in Milan on September 9th, during an amazing opening event.
The winner of the Milan edition of smart urban stage is Gianfranco Pellegrini, who created “TINA – a non-polluting boiler”. He won the first prize of 10,000 euros and the chance to go to Frankfurt for the final award ceremony along with the winners from the other cities.
Maria Jennifer Carew’s “TranSeat” won the second prize: 2,500 euros and the chance to drive a smart fortwo for a year.
Finally, the third prize as well as a smart fortwo to drive for a year have been awarded to Elisabetta Terragni and Jeffrey T. Schnapp for their “The Trento Tunnels” project.
